Features of Account Administration ("My eScrip")
- "My eScrip" offers tools that allow you to manage your personal eScrip account information.
- You can customize your password so that it is easy to remember for future use. Go to Create a Personal Password.
- Email addresses are mandatory for proper program messaging. To update your account go to View Email Messaging.
- If you move, change address or phone numbers, go to Update My Personal Information.
- Some of your credit cards registered with the program might have become expired or you might have additional cards that you would like to register and earn even more contributions for your group or organization. "My eScrip" allows you to update or add cards easily at any time. Go to Update My Credit and Debit Cards.
- Your monthly statements are available online. Go to View My Monthly Statement.
- If you prefer to register additional cards or update your account information by mail you can download the Account Update Form.
- Please be sure and "Sign Off" before leaving "My eScrip" so that anyone else who has access to your computer can not modify or view any of your personal eScrip account information.
About My eScrip
What is the "Main Menu"?
The main menu allows you to review all of the profile information you provided with your eScrip registration. At any time you may update your profile. Simply click on the section title and advance to the screen where you will make your updates. Be sure and click the "Update" button to save your changes.
What if I manage multiple accounts?
Click Here if you need to sign in with the system under several different passwords.
Personal Password
How do I customize my password?
Once you have successfully authenticated or "Sign In" to "My eScrip" there is an option at the top of the list that allows you to change or create a personal password. You may change your password at any time while an active supporter of the eScrip program.
Why do I need to re-enter my existing password in order to create a custom password?
This is an added safeguard to protect your privacy.
What is a Supporter ID?
A Supporter ID uniquely identifies you as a supporter of the eScrip program. This number can be used to "Sign In" to "My eScrip" and manage your personal profile. This number is also helpful when communicating with eScrip's customer service group.
What is a Username?
A username is similar to a Supporter ID and acts as a way to uniquely identify you within the eScrip system. The main benefit of the "Username" is that it can be used to create a personal password, one that is easy for you to remember.
Email Messaging
What will my email address be used for?
You can use your email address as a simple and easy to remember way to "Sign In" to "My eScrip". If you choose, we will send email with special eScrip program promotions. You may select "Email Messaging" from the main menu and elect not to receive any program promotions.
What is the purpose of email messaging?
"Email Messaging" allows you to choose if you would like to receive email messages regarding program information and promotions.
Can I "opt out" of "email messaging"?
Yes. Simply uncheck the box next to the text that reads "Yes, please send email with eScrip program promotions.".
Personal Information
How do I update my personal information?
Choose "Personal Information" from the main menu. Update this information any time you move or change your phone number. This information is used to mail eScrip statements or contact you if necessary.
What is your privacy policy regarding my personal information?
ESI has made a firm commitment to protect all customer information provided. ESI will not license, sell, exchange or distribute any personally identifying information about eScrip participants to any third parties not directly involved in the eScrip program. Group Selection
How do I select multiple groups to support?
You may select up to three groups to support. Choose "Group Selection" from the main menu. This will allow you to search for groups that are enrolled with the program. Follow the instructions on each screen. You will be able to add or delete groups until you are satisfied.
How many groups may I select?
We require a minimum of one group and a maximum of three groups to receive contributions from your purchases.
What is the distribution of contributions amongst multiple groups?
Contributions are split equally among the groups you have selected. You may select up to three groups to support.
Monthly Statements
Why can't I view my monthly statement?
Statements are compiled approximately 60 days after month end. You might have selected to view a month that either isn't available yet or a month where you did not have purchase activity. If you believe that there is an error on your statement, please contact supporters@escrip.com.
Some of my purchases are missing from my reports. What should I do?
If you are missing transactions from either Safeway or Vons call their Club Card Center at (877) 723-3929.It might be as simple as linking your phone number to your club card number, and once it is fixed retroactive credits can be requested.
Why does the amount on my eScrip statement not match my receipts from Safeway/Vons?
Some purchases from Safeway/Vons are excluded from the program. In most cases the difference is California Redemption Value (CRV) on bottles, sales tax, or cash back which are exempt. Please see the merchant list for a complete listing of exclusions.
Credit and Debit Cards
How do I update my credit and debit cards?
Choose "Credit and Debit" cards from the main menu. Use the drop down list box to select the credit card type. Simply click and hold down your mouse in the box with the down arrow. Drag your mouse until you have selected the proper card type and then release. Enter your card number in the box to the right.
How frequently do I need to update my credit and debit cards?
Update your credit and debit card information each time you receive a replacement or new card. The old card becomes invalid for both tracking your purchases and annual renewal.
Why would I want to register additional credit/debit cards?
Every time you shop or dine with a participating eScrip merchant using one of your credit or debit cards, your designated group(s) receives a percentage of your purchase.
What are the differences between the various cards that I can register?
A debit card will have the VISA or Mastercard symbol on it and should be registered as either a VISA or Mastercard. An ATM card that is issued by your bank will not have the VISA or Mastercard symbols present. The card type selected will not affect your contributions with the eScrip program.
Can I "add a merchant" to my account?
No, you do not "add" merchants, but simply shop using either your registered club cards or registered credit cards at participating merchants.
Grocery Club Cards
How do I update my grocery club cards?
Choose "Grocery Club Cards". Use the drop down list box to select your grocer of choice. Simply click and hold down your mouse in the box with the down arrow. Drag your mouse until you have selected your grocer of choice and then release. Enter your club card number in the box to the right. You may register up to four cards. Make sure every shopper in your household has registered club cards.

You can register up to four club cards. Make sure that every shopper in your family has a club card for your local grocer and register them with the eScrip program.
Retail Credit Cards
What is a retail credit card?
Retail cards are for stores such as OfficeMax. These eScrip merchants offer their own proprietary credit cards. Register these cards and earn even more for your children.
How do I update my retail credit cards?
Choose "Retail Credit Cards" from the main menu. Use the drop down list box to select the name of the merchant. Simply click and hold down your mouse in the box with the down arrow. Drag your mouse until you have selected the proper merchant and then release. Enter your card number in the box to the right.
Quitting the Program
How do I quit the program?
If you become unsatisfied with the program, please use the contact form and state the issue or problem you have encountered. One of our customer service representatives will be able to assist you.
