ESI recognizes the importance of protecting the personally identifiable information you provide to us, such as your full name, mailing address, telephone number and/or e-mail address (“Personal Information”).

Your information is protected:

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our server and databases which reside behind a firewall in a secure datacenter with fault tolerance, only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

There is no direct access to the database.

Your private information (credit cards, phone numbers, loyalty card numbers, etc.) will only be kept on file in order to allow tracking of purchases with eScrip merchants for the organizations selected by you to receive contributions.

Use of cookies:

We use session and persistent cookies on this Site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. We use cookies to understand and save your preferences for future visits, and to deliver personalized messaging specific to you, the merchants that serve you and the organizations you’ve chosen to support through eScrip contributions, including third party cookies. The information we collect and share through thrid-party technology is not personally identifiable.

Third party disclosure:

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

We may transfer your information to third parties as a result of or in connection with a sale, merger, consolidation, transfer of assets, reorganization or liquidation, and we shall notify of any such activity if your Personal Information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

At our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Transfer of personal information outside of your country of residency:

We may need to host or store data outside of your country of residency, and in particular in the United States of America. Although we cannot guarantee the same level of protection for your personal information as may be afforded in your country, and despite the risks entailed with on-line communications, we take every reasonable precaution to protect your personal information.

Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their information at anytime by logging into my eScrip and selecting to the “Manage My Account” option.

Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
